Sponsor the Smashing Security podcast

Sponsorship

Thanks for your interest in sponsoring the “Smashing Security” podcast.

In 2018, 2019, and 2023 “Smashing Security” won the title of “Best Security Podcast”, and in 2022 and 2023 was named “Most Entertaining” at the Security Blogger Awards held at Infosec, London.

Each episode of the show is typically downloaded over 15,000 times in just its first week of release (IAB certified, the industry standard in advertising for podcast analytics). 43.7% of our downloads are from the United States, followed by the UK in second place at 19.9%.

We haven’t surveyed our listenership in detail, and Apple iTunes doesn’t offer any detailed demographic information about our listeners. However, we think it’s fair to assume that our listenership is largely made up of people who are interested in and responsible for protecting businesses against security threats.

Sponsors get a promotional slot in the actual episode, as well as the episode’s show notes and webpage. We are happy to read an agreed script, but we do suggest that sponsors let us run with it, so we can add more flair, personality and immediacy to increase engagement.

We will also publicize your sponsorship to our followers on Twitter, and put links to your promotions into the show notes.

In addition, opportunities exist for sponsors to appear in 15-minute featured interviews included within the podcast.

If you are interested in sponsoring future episodes, or have any questions, please get in touch.
