Dinah Davis originally planned to become a math teacher at her high school guidance counsellor’s suggestion because that's what girls who are good at math do, right?!
While at university to become a teacher, Dinah discovered math and computer science. Her co-op experience at the Canadian Security Establishment introduced her to cybersecurity, the perfect mix of math and computer science.
She has spent over 18 years working in tech and cybersecurity at BlackBerry, TrustWave, D2L, and Arctic Wolf, where she is currently the VP of R&D Operations.
In 2015 she founded codelikeagirl.io so that other girls who are good at math are aware of the variety of jobs available for them, not just teaching.
